[Title] Strategic Judgment on Building a Strong Automotive Industry in China

[Abstract] The national strategy for building a strong automotive industry needs a high-level and long-term strategic judgment. In this study, we elaborated the strategy of building a strong automotive industry in terms of the synchronism of economic growth and the development in automotive industry, the comparison with developed countries, the necessity of developing the auto industry for China's specific conditions and the interactions among energy, environment, infrastructure construction and automotive industry. We also proposed several suggestions on developing and implementing China's strong automotive industry strategy.
